The Gastronomic Days of Bomba Rice and Bombón de Pego are back. This will be the tenth edition of a conference that is already more than consolidated, which has changed the date due to the restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus pandemic. This year they will be held from June 24 to 30, coinciding with the week of festivities in order to offer a complementary offer to the recreational and cultural activities organized instead of the festive events.
The bars and restaurants that participate this year in the Gastronomic Days of the Bomba and Bombón de Pego Rice have, like last year, the freedom to offer the dishes and menus they want, at the price they deem appropriate. The only premise is that they highlight the Pego rice.
The councilor for Economic Promotion, Trade and Tourism, Ricardo Sendra, has presented these conferences together with the Local Development Agent, Alicia Carbonell. Both have influenced that with this initiative jointly organized by the City Council and Cream Pego, it is intended to give a boost to the local economy.
As they will coincide with the week of festivities, it is expected that the Rice Days will serve to attract citizens to the bars and restaurants that participate, but it also wants to attract tourists and visitors. With the same purpose, it is already preparing other conferences that will take place in September.
