Last Wednesday, the Pedreguer Parish Cáritas organization received a check for the value of 747,30 euros, corresponding to the surplus generated by the Bons Consum Pedreguer 2023 campaign. This donation corresponds to the unconsumed amount of the cards contributed by citizens Township.
The aforementioned campaign, sponsored by the Commerce council of the Pedreguer City Council and managed through the Creama de Pedreguer Local Development Agency, had the financial support of the Alicante Provincial Council.
The main objective of the initiative was to promote local consumption, providing financial support to residents for their purchases in Pedreguer businesses participating in the campaign. Citizens contributed 75 euros to obtain a gift card worth 150 euros. In accordance with the established bases, at the end of the period of use of the cards, the unconsumed balance, especially the part contributed by citizens, would be donated to Cáritas Parroquial de Pedreguer.
The representatives of Cáritas Pedreguer expressed their sincere gratitude to both the City Council and the citizens of Pedreguer for this generous donation, which is expected to be allocated to the needy people of the municipality.
