On September 15, two administrative assistants and a painting laborer began working at the Pedreguer City Council, within the EMPUJU and EXPLUS 2023 subsidy programs.
The Occupation Department of the Pedreguer City Council, through the Creama Local Development Agency, has managed and obtained the granting of aid from the Generalitat Valenciana – Labora Servicio Valenciano de Ocupación y Formación for a total of 50.870,88 euros, which They will be used to hire two people within the EMPUJU programs and one person with the EXPLUS program. Added to this amount are the 43.164,52 euros contributed by the City Council.
Within the EMPUJU program, two administrative assistants have been hired for one year to support the staff of the City Council and Creama, in general and, in particular, the Secretariat/Intervention department and department
of Urban Planning of the Pedreguer City Council, through a subsidy of 35.678,88 euros for the full-time temporary hiring of unemployed people under 30 years of age who are registered as job seekers in the Labora spaces of the Generalitat and as beneficiaries in the file of the National Youth Guarantee System.
And with the EXPLUS program, which is intended for the hiring of unemployed people of at least 30 years old by local entities of the Valencian Community (Avalamos Experience Plus), 15.192 euros have been received and a painting laborer has been hired who will support the municipal brigade in charge of maintaining municipal buildings, for 12 months.
Both programs are eligible for co-financing by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) 2021-2027 or any other European Union fund.
