This Sunday the XII Gegant de Pedra mountain march and race was held in the Sierra de Segària, which ran normally, after it could not be held in 2021 due to COVID restrictions. A total of 457 people participated in the twelfth edition of this test (148 walkers of 14 kilometers, 151 runners of 14 kilometers, and 158 runners of 21 kilometers).
In the 14 km race, the first runner to reach the finish line was Ignacio Cardona Torres, from CA Llebeig de Xàbia, with a time of 1:16:26. The first runner was, in 14K, Sophie Mullins from CA Llebeig de Xàbia, with a time of 1:40:02. In the 21 km test, the first was David Garcia from Esports Colau Trail with a time of 2:02:18. The first 21K runner was Jessica Mataix Crespo from Aper Alcoy with a time of 2:35:47. The first local runner in the 21K test was Pau Enguix from CA Ondara Trail, and the first three local runners in the 14K were Fernando Server, Raül Lara and Jordi Ramis from CA Ondara and Ondara Tri-Esport. In women, the first local runner in 14K was Lara Ginestar from Ondara Tri-Esport.
