"Living with diversity" is a day organized by the Aprodesco association of Dénia which continues the “Rockeando con ladiversidad” festival held in 2018 and 2019. This time, the regional call will be held at the Rockòdrom de Pedreguer next Saturday, September 10 from 12:00 a.m. to 20:00 a.m.
The day is projected with the aim of creating connection ties with the environment and creating community through music, art and gastronomy, achieving an inclusive character to the day. In addition to valuing diversity as a social model. Partially subsidized by the Diputación de Alicante and organized by all the people who make up Aprosdeco, users, families and professionals, it is sponsored by the business, political and social network of the region.
Activities of the day
- Batukada Tymbals Dypercusion: performance and percussion workshop. This group integrates people with functional diversity in a percussion group with a unique rhythm that allows percussion to be lived and to be part of society through music.
- Aprosdeco Social Circus: circus show by the users of the La Xara Occupational Center and circus art workshop.
- Artisanal product stands: The Puntxeta y som art, products made by the people who attend the La Xara Occupational Center.
- Anne Bonny group concert.
- DJ.
- Barbecue and traditional desserts.
- Other activities, such as creative makeup.

Aprosdeco is an entity made up of families, founded in 1974 and that throughout its history has launched different resources to respond to the needs that have been detected in people with intellectual disabilities and their families.
In 46 years of management of the Occupational Center and the Day Center, other services have been added: Sheltered Housing I where 7 women live, Sheltered Housing II in which 6 men live, a Leisure Club and a Special Employment Center , the Industrial Laundry.
