Gata de Gorgos begins the Plan Convivint for the construction of the Day Center. With the favorable resolution of the delegation of competences in the field of Social Services infrastructures by the vice-presidency and the Ministry of equality and inclusive policies, Gata takes a new step forward for the construction of the day center and CEAM.
The City Council unanimously approved assuming the delegation of the Conselleria to initiate the necessary technical actions for the construction of the day center and CEAM by which it assumes the drafting of the execution projects and construction management with its own resources or through a tender.
The construction of this center has a grant from the Generalitat of 3.952.833,96 euros broken down into three annual payments: 2021-2022-2023 and is included in the map of social services infrastructures of the Conselleria, in Department 16 Marina Alta , and foreseen in the aforementioned Plan Convivint among the new infrastructures.
With this favorable resolution, Gata de Gogos becomes the first municipality to initiate the Convivint Plan for Social Services infrastructures of the Ministry of Equality and Inclusive Policies.
The project
The new infrastructure, distributed over two floors and a basement, will have several services such as living rooms, workshop rooms, dining room and kitchen, medical, nursing and chiropody service, library and reading room, cafeteria, changing rooms, computer room, ... as well as its own parking area. In addition, the building will have capacity for 72 people.
