The Moors and Christians of Moraira star in an emotional offering to make up the cross of carnations next to the Castle

The Moors and Christians of Moraira are in full celebration of their festivities and yesterday afternoon they were summoned to the offering of flowers in honor of the Santísimo Cristo de Moraira that ended next to the Hermitage and the Castle of the town. An emotional moment in which the filaes walk through the streets of the town carrying carnations to form the Christian cross.

This 2023, the offering had a very special finishing touch. With the Moorish and Christian groups and the spectators gathered next to the Castle, Montserrat Tro Peris directed all the music bands gathered there to interpret the march Offer to Castell, a piece of music composed by Rafa Soriano in honor of the important moment and of the Moraira Central Board of Moors and Christians and especially its president, Carla Beltrán, who ends her term this year.
