The companies of Teulada Moraira will not have to pay taxes on the Bono-Comercio, this has been confirmed today by the city council after having carried out the pertinent consultations with the Municipal Intervention with the Treasury.
This morning the informative meeting took place in which the Teulada City Council explained the process to be followed to the collaborating companies.
In the event that the company has submitted the income statement including the trade bonds, it must request a rectification from the Treasury, attaching the certificate that the Teulada City Council has issued. In addition, the Treasury has in its database the list of businesses involved so that when they register their income tax return they are already listed as exempt.
Llobell: "We were clear that it was a mistake"
From the city council they wanted to highlight that "this initiative was born to boost the local economy, help and benefit both businessmen and users, mobilizing one million euros subsidized entirely with the remainder of the municipal coffers."
“From the first moment we were clear that it was an error, it has finally been solved thanks to the work of the municipal intervention and the departments involved. The bonus was a novel initiative that came to revitalize the local economy and finally it was. Now we can continue working quietly to prepare for the next Bono Comercio campaign so that local businesses can join with total confidence", said the mayor of Teulada-Moraira, Raúl Llobell.
