During the afternoon of Saturday, several small boats were intercepted on the coast of Alicante. Specifically, three were located, one in front of the Calp coast and another two in Benidorm.
The one in Calp was overturned and at the time of the intervention seven people were rescued, although they are looking for more who could go on board according to the testimony of the immigrants to the Red Cross. The boat was found 40 kilometers from the Calp coast, after a notice sent, at around 15:112 p.m., to the XNUMX Emergency personnel of the Generalitat.
The other two boats were located on Saturday afternoon, one in the Tío Ximo cove in Benidorm, empty but its 11 occupants were intercepted shortly after by the security forces and another 10 miles from this same town with 10 people on board. .
A total of 28 people were located and the search for other people who could be on board one of them continues. The rescued people have been transferred to the Port of Alicante.
