The Ondara City Council celebrates this Thursday, February 23, the regular plenary session of the month, and among the items on the agenda it is worth noting to inform the Provincial Council of Alicante of the formal commitment of the Ondara City Council to assume the excess part of the cost of the construction works of the House of Music and Performing Arts.
The cost was, according to the valued report carried out in 2020, 691.426,89 (total price of the project plus the work), becoming 1.021.923,14 euros, which represents a variation of 330.496,25 euros more. An increase that will be assumed, on the one hand, by the Ondara City Council, with a contribution of 256.800,65 euros more, and on the other, by the Provincial Council, which will contribute 73.695 euros.
Due to the increase in prices that has occurred since the drafting of the Valued Report (of 2020) for which the subsidy was granted, it has been necessary to increase the amount of the works, in order to comply with the purpose of the subsidized works .
It is worth mentioning that the construction of the house of music and performing arts is subsidized by the Alicante Provincial Council, and planned for its creation on a 1.160 m² municipal plot, in the urban area of Tossals, on Enric Valor street nº13, a Plot reserved for teaching staff use.
Likewise, the plenary session of the Ondara City Council, on July 30, 2020, agreed to request the work called 'Construction of the house of music and performing arts', within the call for a subsidy for the Plan Plan of Alicante 2020-2023, with an estimated budget of 697.728,00 euros (VAT included).
The Provincial Council, in 2020, for this infrastructure approved a budget of 675.037,66 euros for the contracting and execution of the work, as well as for the drafting of the project, having been awarded to date the fees for drafting the project amounting to 16.389,23 €XNUMX. However, by means of a report from the drafter of the project, the City Council informs the Diputación that, due to the increase in prices that has occurred since the drafting of the Valued Report for which the subsidy was granted, it has been necessary to increase the amount of the works in order to fulfill the purpose of the subsidized works.
With the favorable report of the Provincial Technical Services, the budget for the execution of the work will be increased to 997.7000 euros, increasing the corresponding award of fees for drafting the project to 24.223,14 euros.
Due to the fact that it is an incident during the drafting of the initial project and that it supposes an increase in the cost of the works (as indicated in the modification of the bases and the Plan Plan, approved by the Plenary of the Provincial Council of Alicante, in an ordinary session held on July 6, 2022) the modification of the financing of said action is proposed and the provincial subsidy is increased in accordance with what is indicated in said modification of the bases.

On the other hand, the approval of the Regulating Ordinance on School Absenteeism will be raised to full approval. The purpose of this rule is to provide a legal instrument that allows, at the municipal level, an effective intervention with the aim of ensuring the full schooling of students of compulsory school age, guaranteeing their right to education and reducing school absenteeism; and establish an effective protocol for detection, prevention and intervention at the municipal level that systematizes the coordinated action and communication of the different agents involved, monitoring and evaluating the actions and measures taken.

In the session of this month of February, the request to the Ministry of Justice, Interior and Public Administration for the subsidy for the elaboration of a Plan of adaptation of the Action Plan against seismic risk of Ondara, in order to request its approval to the Civil Protection Commission of the Valencian Community.
