On May 27, the 1st Trobada de Filaes y Comparsas de la Marina Alta y Baixa will take place in Moraira. Organized by the Muladíes filà and the Almorach de Moraira filà, the 2023 captaincies in the town, it will be a new meeting with which to promote brotherhood between peoples of both regions with the same passion: the Moors and Christians festival.
The event will have parades, the traditional brotherhood meal, bar service at popular prices and musical performance. The captaincies have declared that this meeting is intended to "bring together the festive people of the province for the first time in our town", an event that will bring together comparsas from the entire region and in which they hope to "bring together all the lovers of this festival and celebrate an act of brotherhood with the sea as a backdrop”.
The price per person will be 20 euros and payment must be made by bank transfer to the account ES65 3058 2543 9727 2001 0439. The organization requests that the transfers be made jointly, that is, that each row or board is take charge of making the transfer.

The Councilor for Festivals of the Teulada City Council, Rosana Caselles, has encouraged all citizens "to participate in this first meeting, an opportunity to get to know each other and be part of a greater brotherhood, because if something unites us, it is undoubtedly the party, and nothing as ours as the Moors and Christians».
The scheduled schedule for the 1st Trobada de Filaes y Comparsas of the Marina Alta and Baixa is as follows:
- 11:00 a.m. Receipt and delivery of tickets.
- 11:30 am Welcome from the neighboring rows on the Paseo del Senillar in Moraira.
- 12:00 pm Parade accompanied by brass band.
- 13:00 p.m. Casalla and vermouth tasting enlivened by brass band.
- 15:00 pm Brotherhood paella with two drinks (soft drinks, beer and wine). Dessert and mistela.
- 16:30 p.m. Retreat through the streets accompanied by brass band.
- 17:00 p.m. Musical performance.
The program could be altered or modified by the organization.
