The Calp City Council will start up again this year aid to citizens for which it contemplates in itself a budget of almost 2 million euros. New help lines will be added to these reissued grants, which are in the study phase.
For the moment, the Consistory has confirmed the following grants:
- Aid for habitual housing that has a budget of 40.000 euros. Is about aid for the payment of real estate tax (IBI), aimed at retired people, pensioners under 65 years of age, as well as long-term unemployed. It consists of a bonus of up to 400 euros and up to 85% of the IBI amount. The amount can be increased by 10% in the case of people with disabilities or members of the family unit who present a disability and who prove a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33% or are victims of gender violence or form part of a single parent family
- University transport aid, with an amount of 150.000 euros. The purpose of these aids is to grant aid that contributes to defray part of the transportation expenses for students who are studying Baccalaureate, first and second year (all modalities), vocational training, middle and higher grade, professional artistic education, higher artistic education, undergraduate, master's and doctoral university education and distance university education, UNED and ON-LINE (all modalities), in Official Public Centers, Private Concerted Centers and Official Private Centers.
- Aid for the acquisition of textbooks, with an amount of 4.448,72 euros. They will be used to defray part of the expenses of the purchase of textbooks and didactic material for students who have completed Baccalaureate studies, first and second year (all modalities), Vocational Training, Intermediate Grade and Higher Grade, at IES Ifach from Calp.
- reissue of Baby Bonus, endowed with 20.000 euros. They are grants of up to 500 euros for the acquisition of essential children's products, childcare, pharmacy and parapharmacy, infant food, etc. purchased in the local trade.
- It is planned to reissue the Old Town Facade Rehabilitation Plan, to which 70.000 euros are allocated, and which has two lines. One to cover the costs of rehabilitation of facades of all buildings located in the Historic Center and collective buildings of the municipality and another specific line for all those actions that include both the removal of exterior elements that do not conform to the planning and those that propose their concealment.
- Aid to sport, for clubs and sports entities in the town, with an amount of 275.000 euros. In this edition with an increase in the item of 65.000 euros. These aids have two lines: line 1 for participation in official sports competitions and promotion of local grassroots sports and line 2 for the organization of sporting events.
- will be reissued Local Employment Plan. It will be the third edition, which last year was endowed with more than one million euros and offered a total of 71 positions with different professional categories for eight months.
The call for each of these aid lines will be made public through the website and municipal social networks and a reasonable period of time will be granted for the submission of applications.
