Moraira has been the starting point of the fourth stage of the 75th Volta Ciclista to the Valencian Community. Since early this morning there has been a day of great atmosphere in front of l'Ampolla beach. Hundreds of residents and visitors have come to the Castell de Moraira esplanade to see the cyclists and their teams up close.
When the departure time arrived, the expectation was maximum. The audience cheered on the cyclists who started the stage towards the Vall d'Ebo. A tough 175-kilometer route that passes through five mountain passes and features the novelty of Alto del Miserat, unprecedented in professional races. This climb is just over five kilometers with an average slope of 10,5% and maximum gradients of 20%.
