Gerard Fullana, currently a councilor for Xaló and spokesman for Compromís in the Provincial Council of Alicante, has announced his candidacy for the Compromís per Alacant primaries. This internal process, in which all citizens participate, is opened to be able to choose the lists of candidates for the next regional and municipal elections in 2023.
For her part, Aitana Mas, current Vice President of the Generalitat and Minister of Equality and Inclusive Politics, also announced her intention at the end of December 2022.
Since yesterday, Monday, the period to present the candidacies remains open, as well as the registration to the census that will give rise to the election of lists. This census will be made up of militants or sympathizers of the coalition or the parties that make it up, in addition to those who register until next February 3.
