The TRAM d'Alacant service will be modified tomorrow, Saturday, May 7, between 08:00 and 14:15 on the route from Altea to Calp, passing through Garganes. This tour will be done by bus at the indicated times. In addition, the Cap Negret and Olla Altea halts will remain without service first thing in the morning, but will be restored around 11:15 a.m.
The modifications are due to the monitoring work planned for the El Algar and Mascarat viaducts. The planned technical tests force the temporary closure of railway circulation between Garganes and Calp on Line 9 (Benidorm-Dénia) of the Alicante TRAM.
Users who travel to Garganes can do so by train, while passengers who wish to continue the journey towards Dénia must first transfer to the bus in Altea. In the opposite direction, they will have to do the same from Calp.
The bus stop in Altea will be located on the N-332 in La Mar street and the Calp stop in front of the station. While the halts at Cap Negret and Olla Altea will be without service first thing in the morning, coinciding with the work at El Algar, they will be restored when these are completed. Before the opening, a bus stop will be established, both going up and down, on Catarroja street, near the Garganes stop.
The arrivals and departures of the affected trains will maintain the established schedules, while the departure of the buses will take place once the transfers between train and bus or between bus and bus have been made.
