The salary of the mayors town by town: here the complete list

November 13 from 2022 - 09: 01

At the end of the year, the Ministry of Finance and Public Function publishes the list of remuneration received by the country's mayors during the year prior to the date of publication. The updated information includes the total of each salary in a year. Thus, in November 2022, it published the 2021 list.

The compilation comes from the Administration Job Information System (ISPA). This platform is responsible for collecting information on what these positions receive, in addition to the salaries of civil servants, councils and councils of the autonomous communities.

The list also specifies the dedication regime that each position has, which can be exclusive, partial or without dedication. This last category includes what is received by mayors who do not have one of the other two dedications, but do receive a certain retribution through per diems.

In this way, the salaries received by the mayors of the Marina Alta during the previous year have been collected:

To the normal working women and men (voters and taxpayers) in DENIA: I am extremely surprised that their is not outcry from you! Do you remember what this mayor (Grimault) did first when he was elected, yes, he put up all the salaries for himself and his friends and it did not stop. What has this man and his friends done for Denia? It seems they know how to spend taxpayers money and of course European funds for useless things. I wonder what qualifications they have to fulfill their duties? Do they have any or is it may be because they are long lasting members of this party or club they joined? Think about all the promises they made. What was realised? Has DENIA in the last 3 years improved, do we have a better infrastructure, do we have more jobs with reasonable contracts, what has been done for all the small businesses and maybe new ones, is their a realistic and professional plan for the future? I think not. It is time that DENIA gets a professional and business experienced government who earns their salaries with dignity. So please Citizens of DENIA, think about this and go voting next year.

  2. July says:

They must have a decent salary of course. Without a doubt it is better that they end up "invited" by promoters and builders

  3. mumisa says:

For salary, the one that the ex-mayor of the PP of Jávea got, no less than 72.000. € per year. It was news in national circulation newspapers.

  4. Mountain ranges of Spain... says:

There are many towns in Spain where the mayor earns little, then you have to add all the money he gets from other places.
The Community of Valencia is part of Spain.

  5. Xabiero says:

Does the one from Jávea have a salary? Didn't he say that he was rejecting it and taking the one from the Provincial Council, which is more than 90 euros?
My goodness, the peel is the peel, a good example of Ràfol d'Almúmia, yes sir 👌

    • its from xabia says:

Is the rafol a good example? Do you work for free?

      • Anonymous says:

Yes, it is a good example, in some countries there is no charge for acting as mayor, it is considered something voluntary to favor the place, it is perfectly combined with their jobs avoiding wasting time on unnecessary things and corruption since being an altruistic action only present those who are really interested in improving their town. In other countries it is charged but not as much as it is seen on that list, a normal salary is charged, like any other job, but they can only be for one legislature, the next one they cannot present themselves to make way for other people so they can demonstrate what they they can do. Even in Germany, Angela Merkel, while she was president, continued to live in her apartment, with two escorts at the door, nothing more, while here we offer them a palace, allowances, driver, car and a salary that in a month they earn what us in years, greetings.

    • Juan says:

The one from Javea said that he took it because the salary of Les Corts does not give the right to compensation. So he charges for assists and goes to all the commissions to be able to collect them, including those called by the former councilor for Public Works, with a single item on the agenda "to approve the previous minutes."

      • Luis says:

And how do you account for those two charges when you make the Income Tax return? Some have up to 6 charges. Do they make statements or is there wide sleeves as well?

  6. Ross says:

    I do not belive anything
