Last Friday, March 1, El Prado de Ondara hosted the celebration of Sopar de la Fam, a solidarity initiative organized by the Santa Ana Parish with the collaboration of the Ondara City Council, which this year was convened for the benefit of Manos Unidas. In fact, between the dinner tickets and the raffle held with the support of local businesses and companies, the final collection of the event was close to 3.579,2 euros, although, as the organization has clarified, donations are still being received from Ondarians . Regarding the number of attendees, up to 230 people attended an event that, as the head of the parish Ximo Silvestre highlighted in statements to Radio La Veu d'Ondara, "is part of the time of Lent and the imminent celebration of Holy Week in Onda.
In relation to this reaffirmed edition that the Parish of Santa Ana coordinated to recover the importance of a deep-rooted solidarity event that had not been held in the municipality for many years, Silvestre wanted to thank the support of the Ondara neighborhood and also of the businesses and companies that joined the meeting with the gifts they donated for the solidarity raffle.
