The PSPV of Els Poblets describes the management of the government team as “null”

The Socialist Party of the Valencià Country of Els Poblets considers it appropriate to make public some actions and decisions of the current government team in response to the oversight tasks of municipal management that we expressed in the last ordinary session of the corporation held on September 5 :

• 1) We question the decision of the current Councilor for Commerce to renounce the subsidy of 6.000 euros managed by the executive that we were part of the Provincial Council for the organization of a trade fair in the middle of this month of September that would allow us to vindicate ourselves and would be an incentive for the sector that still survives in the municipality. We believe that the arguments pretexted by Francisco Pérez Ribot regarding the fact that the organization only covered part of the 20.000 euros in which the cost of the event was calculated are not acceptable, due to the fact that the previous head of the PSPV area had sufficient foresight – not very common in an electoral year - to leave an item for this purpose in the budgets, considering as a priority the need for our commercial fabric to interrelate and create synergies with the rest of the region, as the first stage of its promotion during the present month of September.

  This fact has motivated us to corroborate our suspicions about the insensitivity of the Els Poblets PRE spokesperson regarding the concerns and needs of the productive sector of the municipality, whose representatives have
  They were totally disappointed, considering that its celebration in the remodeled Joan Martorell street would have meant a considerable economic and promotional boost.

• 2) We also extend this consideration with respect to what we consider to be the null management of the current tripartite that governs the City Council to try to obtain the appropriate aid from other supra-municipal administrations. In this sense, the best example of such apathy is evidenced by having passed by
  recent calls for aid for the social promotion of vehicle equipment or the conservation and improvement of trails, which in the not too distant past prevented the Els Poblets City Council from having to dip into municipal coffers to satisfy some citizen and maintenance needs of infrastructure.
• 3) On the other hand, highlight the inadmissibility of the decision of the mayor, José Luis Mas, to grant a new commission of services to an agent of the Local Police, despite the report issued by the head of this security body in which warn that this measure was going to aggravate the insufficiency of the current workforce to comply with the minimum service stipulated in a 7x7 rotating shift from 6 a.m. to 22 p.m. This circumstance, which the mayor as chief of staff considered “non-binding” contradicts what was expressed during the electoral campaign by the PRE councilor, regarding his commitment to extending the agents' workday to night hours, therefore that in just three months it has become evident that it was a toast to the sun, not to call it a true fallacy only admissible for those who are totally unaware of the situation and the functioning of this security body.
• 4) With this measure we can say that the deficiencies in terms of security of the population that have become evident during the recent patron saint festivities are exacerbated. In them, the government team did not consider it appropriate to resort to the presence of security forces to prevent potential altercations, contrary to the previous legislature where coordination with the Civil Guard, the Autonomous Police or the USECIA itself helped to ensure that the most mass events took place with a normality in the antipodes of what happened in some discomobiles to the point of motivating their suspension due to different attempts at fighting.
• 5)In relation to the development of the festivities in honor of the Diví Salvador, we have no choice but to criticize the current tripartite's inconsideration towards the local hospitality industry by resorting to a company that does not pay its taxes in the municipality for the organization of the Major's Day, to the detriment of those who have felt discriminated against for contributing to municipal coffers. In this we can only remember the repeated statements of the councilor of Vivim Els Poblets, Miguel Ángel Moncho, regarding the need for all the economic activity of the municipality to revert to it, although to express them he used a less elegant vocabulary.
