The provincial PSOE criticizes "the lack of commitment" of the PP due to the revocations of the Edificant plans in the Marina Alta

The general secretary of the PSPV-PSOE of the province of Alicante, Alejandro Soler, has criticized that "the PP with Carlos Mazón at the head is revoking many works that were already planned in the Edificant plan, demonstrating its lack of commitment to public schools in the province of Alicante. Soler made these statements after visiting the old schools of Beniarbeig, on a route that has taken him to different points in the Marina Alta region.

The provincial general secretary has highlighted that "while some cut and revoke, the government of Spain has a firm commitment to this region, as can be seen in the investment in infrastructure that is being made. Proof of this is the Benissa variant and its complementary works with more than 50 million euros or the Pego variant, a black dot, with almost 10 million. Another example is the new access of Xàbia to the AP-7 with connection to the N-332 roads in Pedreguer and Gata de Gorgos with a budget of more than 30 million.

The general secretary has asserted that "in the last five years the Botanic government has facilitated the reform of many schools, multiplying educational investment by 3, an investment never made by any government before the Botanic. With the arrival of the PP to the government, they have come in with scissors, cutting public services. A clear example is that of the FP center of Dénia. But there are 49 Alicante towns that may be affected by these revocations as we have already seen in Petrer, Villena and Guardamar.

Finally, Alejandro Soler has stated that «there are two ways of doing politics. And citizens can clearly see what the two models are, one of cuts to infrastructure that needs it and another that seeks to make the Marina Alta region competitive and attractive for the thousands of citizens who visit it all year round.
