Yesterday the works began on the Ifac Sports Pavilion in Calp. Some works that amount to 62.907,90 euros and that were awarded to the company Solatube Levante SL This will be in charge of improving the lighting and ventilation of the sports venue, which is estimated to be completed in a month.
With this project it is intended that these sports facilities have a more efficient lighting and air conditioning system. To do this, a natural lighting system will be installed that will make the most of solar lighting and therefore save electricity consumption in the artificial lighting of the track and, at the same time, prevent heat from entering.
It is planned to install forty points of natural light with solar collectors with a condensation control system on the roof. It is also planned to install punctual static ventilation systems on the roof and helical fans on the north and south facades of the building to improve circulation and the air renewal process. In this way, with the improvement of ventilation, it is intended to end the problems of humidity present on the roof.
The rainwater evacuation system will also be improved since the roof of the building is deteriorated, which allowed the passage of water from the rain, something that has caused damage to some points of the track.
