The City Council of Ondara, through the Municipal Technical Area, has launched various mechanisms to improve the processes of both granting and controlling licenses for new construction and renovations, as well as monitoring the works carried out within the term. municipal.

This has been made evident in the coordination meeting held between the Mayor of Ondara, José Ramiro; the Municipal Councilor, Miguel Gomis; and the members of the municipal technical area (architect, technicians and those responsible for inspection).

As part of the process improvement, the Ondara City Council has made it mandatory for all work being carried out (new construction, renovations, etc.) to have the sign accrediting the license clearly visible from public roads. the responsible declaration of works. The accession implies the delegation to the Agency of the powers of sanction and reestablishment of urban legality that correspond to the municipality of Ondara, in cases of serious or very serious urban planning infractions on non-developable, common or protected land.

The City Council of Ondara must notify the Agency of all acts of use or construction that it is aware of and that are carried out on non-developable land within its municipal area, provided that the commission of some type of urban planning infraction that can be classified may arise. as serious or very serious.

Ondara, as a member municipality, continues to maintain its urban planning competence in matters of inspection and processing of urban planning discipline files (both sanctioning and reestablishment of legality) with respect to minor, serious and very serious infractions on urban and developable land as well as with respect to minor infractions on non-developable land.
