Four new deaths in the Marina Alta while the infections do not stop rising

January 21 from 2022 - 10: 03

The Ministry of Health has made public the new data on coronavirus in the region. If in the last update on Tuesday the data seemed more hopeful, this time they are not so much. The Marina Alta has registered more than 345 points of accumulated incidence, so it currently registers 4.182,86 cases of accumulated incidence per 100.000 inhabitants.

New cases also increase, specifically there are 2.351 new infections. On the other hand, the active cases are 7.137, that is, 589 more than in the last registration day. In this way, the Marina Alta has already accumulated 30.333 cases since the start of the pandemic.

The region had not recorded new deaths since last January 11, however, this time it has added four new deaths at once in three different locations. Pedreguer regrets the worst part and adds two new deaths. The other two deaths belong to one Dénia and another to Calp. In this way, the current total number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic is 229.

Infections by municipalities also increase significantly. As expected, Dénia, Xàbia and Calp are the ones that register the most new positives. The capital of the region accumulates 7.703 cases in total, of which 448 are new, although their accumulated incidence only increases 77 points. Xàbia registers 407 new positives and an incidence of 4.504,57 cases. This is more alarming, since it increases more than 310 points. Finally, Calp adds 316 new cases.

The rest of the towns also add infections except Parcent, Senija, Vall d'Ebo and Vall d'Alcalà. In this way, Teulada has 207 positives, Benissa 201, Pego 123, Pedreguer 131, Ondara 143, Gata de Gorgos 107, El Verger 109, Benitatxell 40, Xaló 9, Els Poblets 3, Orba 56, Beniarbeig 9, Alcalalí 3, Llíber. 4, Vall de Laguar 12, Sanet i Negrals 4, Ràfol d'Almúnia 3, Vall de Gallinera 4, Benigembla, Murla and Castell de Castells 2 each and Benidoleig, Atzúbia, Benimeli and Tormos one more each.

  1. For that says:

That your mouth is full against insult but you have no problem calling people liars without any proof. Hypocritical.

    • Mike says:

Investigate on your own, there is a lot of information published already. Vaccines do not work, they are even harmful. I recommend you start with Pfizer's FOIA, which can be found on the Pfizer page. Good luck and greetings

  2. Neither feet nor head says:

Indicate a single fact of the article that is incorrect or shut up. That they do not publish other information that in your opinion is "important" does not mean that denia.com is lying. Not everyone has to play along with your anti-vaccine theories. And they don't have to write the article including supposed contradictory data that you ask for, but you are not able to find in other media and share here. Vague.

  3. Mike says:

For the poor guy who says journalists don't have a professional duty to publish the truth and not lies or incomplete information because 'they don't owe us anything'… there are a lot of useful idiots out there… don't be one of them.

    • Crybaby says:

You have not yet indicated or proven that part of the article is incorrect. But that doesn't stop you from accusing yourself of lying :). Flip flops and fools. You want denia.com to publish the articles in your way, but you neither pay for it nor do you provide a single contradictory piece of information.

      • Mike says:

Still don't understand? They do not publish the vaccination status of the deceased / infected or if they had comorbidities. There are people who are making the decision to vaccinate their children or not based on this news. Once made, this decision cannot be changed. It is important that the press publish correct data to inform the public, otherwise they could be committing a crime. You should research the topic yourself to understand it better. Resorting to insult only serves to demonstrate a lack of education and judgment.

  4. CriticizeIsEasy says:

And how much do you pay denia.com to give you all the information you ask for?

    • Sara says:

That I do not pay anything directly to Denia.com does not exempt them from publishing the truth and not political propaganda. Or, alternatively, recognize the grants they receive for each sponsored article.

      • NoDataNoSources says:

Of course he exempts them, because they don't owe you anything. What you can do is stop complaining so much and publish the data here yourself, uncovering their lies and showing the truth to all of us, enlightened.

  5. Sara says:

Very incomplete news as always with this topic, denia.com. When are they going to do a professional job and tell all the details? Ages, comorbidities, vaccination status? Without these data, the news has no value, at least at the level of the reader. How much do you charge to publish this propaganda?
