May 11 from 2023 - 18: 50

Compromís met today at the House of Culture of Dénia to give some outlines of the proposals that they intend to carry out during the 2023/2027 legislature to form the new Government of the Generalitat. The formation has brought together the candidate for deputy in Les Corts Valencianes, Gerard Fullana, and the party's candidates in several municipalities of the Marina Alta, such as Rafa Carrió in Dénia, Rosa Vila in Teulada Moraira, Josep Signes Costa in Gata de Gorgos and José Luis Mas Sola in Els Poblets.

A few hours before the electoral campaign begins, Fullana has stated convinced that "Compromís will win the regional elections in the Marina Alta." "The right will not have any deputy in the region and I think it is necessary to emphasize it," he continued, highlighting the importance of offering representation to the region to solve issues such as the reversal of the Dénia Health Department.

"When the reversal has been debated in the Provincial Council or in the Corts, the PP has abstained or voted against," he assured, adding that if the popular ones get good results in the elections "there will be no public health in the High Marina ». The xaloner has highlighted that the next regional ones "go from the past or the future and our candidate for the presidency of the Generalitat, Baldoví, presents proposals to travel to the future."

Already entered into the matter, Fullana has given a few brushstrokes to the proposals of the formation in regard to health, education and housing. As for the reversal of Health in the Marina Alta, Fullana has defended the essentiality of his position in the Corts to carry it out in the best way. Although, the candidate has gone further, detailing that they will work to improve all primary care with the increase in specialists in psychology and physiotherapy. "In addition, we want boys and girls to have a free and public dental service, as well as opticians and financing for such basic items as glasses," he added.

In terms of Education, Compromís has set out to achieve free education for people from one to two years of age. And in housing, the candidate for Les Corts assures that his objective is to provide the Marina Alta with public housing now in possession of the banking entities. Rafa Carrió, for his part, wanted to recall the management of Compromís at the head of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. "A total of 15.000 more teachers have been hired, schooling has been made free in the 2-3 year bracket and books and the dining room for a total of 70.000 students have also been free."

In addition, he mentioned the Pla Edificant "thanks to which it has been possible to rehabilitate, adapt and build educational centers in the city, making it possible to put an end to the chronic barracks inherited from the PP." In this way, they have committed to continue executing the pending works of the Pla and to make the new Music Conservatory and the CIFP Gent de Mar in Dénia a reality.

For her part, Rosa Vila has stated that politics must be strengthened "from the bottom up" highlighting the work of the municipalities. In Teulada Moraira, she has highlighted, "we have a very serious problem with the sewage system and we pay a fee that goes directly to the Ministry without having any service." Thus, Vila has committed to her municipality to request the return of the tax and invest it in improving the sewerage network.
