Compromís per Calp has made public the electoral program with which they will incur in the municipal elections. It is, according to the training, "48 measures focused on giving a 360 degree turn to the policies promoted by the Calp City Council."
The main axes of the program they present are education, health, the economy, trade and social policies. Regarding the educational issue, the coalition is committed to the construction of the second IES and Gargasindi, as well as a new school for infant and primary education. Also, they are committed to creating a line of scholarships for extracurricular activities and educational expenses.
As far as health is concerned, they want to create the figure of the municipal psychologist to tackle mental health problems, especially among youth. They also intend to fight for the expansion of the health transport service and for the construction of the second health center by the Ministry.
As far as the local economy is concerned, the Valencianistas plan to promote the pedestrianization of the old town, as well as the declaration of Calp as a stressed area in order to limit the rental price. They will also promote a youth housing plan, with the purchase and rehabilitation of houses.
Regarding social services, "they will be reformulated putting people at the center of all policies and will reinforce the SAD (Servei d'Atenció Domiciliària)", drafting a support plan for dependent people who are alone", they specify, and they want Create a municipal public residence for the elderly and adults.
Ximo Perles, spokesperson and mayoral candidate for Compromís per Calp, has detailed: "This is a program that we have worked on and agreed upon with many actors and associations at the local level, and we believe that it is the best working document to make Calp walk forward".
