This week, in Calp, work began on Lot II of the Asphalting Plan, which will make it possible to resurface roads in the Mascarat-Toix, Maryvilla, Canuta Baja, Canuta Alta and Canuta de Ifac urbanisations. The works have a cost of 395.523,16 euros and will improve roads in five urbanizations.
The project, which began with the milling of streets in the Canuta urbanization, includes the improvement of the access road to the Toix viewpoint, one of the most visited tourist resources in the municipality.
These works begin after completing the asphalting works on Avenida Diputación, one of the main arteries of the municipality, framed within the Lot I Asphalting Plan that was awarded for an amount of 373.243,22 euros.
These initiatives are added to the resurfacing works of various housing estates carried out in November as part of a development improvement plan that involved refurbishing and patching roads in some of the oldest housing estates in the municipality.
