The modified ordinance in the plenary session of the City Council that allows the IBI fee to be discounted by up to 50% for the installation of systems for the use of solar energy comes into force this week.
The bonus will be applied by 50% in the receipt of the IBI of the first three years after the completion of the installation works with a maximum of 400 euros and 25% in the two following tax periods with a maximum limit of 200 euros. .
Requirements
To access these discounts, it will be necessary for the benefited properties to be used for housing, that they have a minimum installed power of 2 kW for every 100 m2 of built surface and that the installation of a solar energy system is not mandatory by construction regulations. The bonus can be applied to a maximum of two homes of the same owner.
The period of application of this discount will be from the tax period following that in which the works begin until the period after their completion, provided that during that time urbanization works or effective construction are carried out, and without, in In no case may it exceed three tax periods.
Works started prior to the entry into force of the ordinance will be subject to the bonus foreseen that remains from the completion of the works up to the five years eligible for bonuses. Bonuses will be requested through SUMA.
