Bernabé commits in Pego to have an assessment of the damage caused by the Vall d'Ebo fire in the coming weeks

02 September 2022 - 15: 10

The Government delegate in the Valencian Community, Pilar Bernabé, has promised to have an assessment of the damage caused by the Vall d'Ebo fire in each of the affected municipalities in September. The objective, has Bernabé, is to send it as soon as possible to the Ministry of Territorial Policy.

To do this, the Government delegate has stressed that “we are going to work hand in hand with the Town Halls of the affected municipalities. Each one of them is going to present us with the different rehabilitation projects that they have to do in all types of municipally owned infrastructures affected”.

"There is a lot of work ahead because we want this month to be able to have an assessment", commented the mayor of Vall d'Ebo, Nory Jiménez, who confirmed that the office for those affected by the fire is already operational in municipal dependencies; "Some neighbors have already come to find out."

For his part, the mayor of Pego, Enrique Moll, thanked “the coordinated work between all administrations, both state and provincial; who are pouring themselves into the recovery of the fire. We hope that the aid that we have been told will arrive, will do so in a coordinated manner and on time”.

Shop in the municipality

After the meeting held at the House of Culture, the Government delegate visited some establishments in Pego to buy local products, "you cannot leave without trying the figatell and the sausages that are made here in Pego", the mayor told her, Enrique Moll and other mayors Pegolinos.
