Benitatxell has organized some dramatized routes to publicize the old town of the town as well as the corners and historical buildings that have witnessed the history of the municipality.
To make them known and promote this area of the town, the Department of Tourism offers this summer the theatrical routes 'A museum in the wind' on July 15 and 29 and August 5,12, 19 and XNUMX.
An XNUMXth century character awaiting the arrival of the settlement letter from the Duke of Medinaceli will guide visitors through the main attractions of the urban center, such as the church, the portalet and the viewpoint, the Raconet, the old butcher shop and casa-posada, the Cine Cervera or the streets that pay tribute to the important emigration of the pobleros and pobleras in Argentina and Algeria at the end of the XNUMXth century and the beginning of the XNUMXth century.
«Through this proposal, the aim is to make the history and origins of our people known in an original and fun way. We want to capture the attention of visitors and tourists beyond the offer of sun and beach and thus enhance our old town, which is a great unknown for many people, "said the Councilor for Tourism and Heritage, Víctor Bisquert.
The routes, totally free, will start from the Municipal Market at 19:30 p.m. Places are limited and prior registration is required by emailing benitatxell@touristinfo.net or in person at the Tourist Office (C / Mercado, 1) from Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m.
