Benissa has begun to prepare the monthly program around the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on November 25.
The activities, organized by the Department of Equality, will begin on Saturday, November 5 with the distribution of banners in the municipal market from 08:30 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. and will end on Friday 25 at 20:00 p.m. in Plaza Rei Jaume I with a large crowd concentration.
On Thursday 10, at 20:00 p.m., the talk will take place in Les Cases del Batlle Economic violence, the cover-up of daily abuse by Renée Aguilar. The next day, Friday the 11th, the Titella Teatre theater company will perform at 22:00 p.m. in the Cultural Hall the play donate alone.
On Thursday 17 at 19:30 p.m. in Les Cases del Batlle, a cinema forum is planned under the social criticism of the 'glass ceiling' suffered by many women in the labor market. On Thursday 24, in the morning, the city council will offer a talk on municipal resources on gender violence in the Cultural Hall. To close the programming, on the 25th, starting at 20:00 p.m., the Plaza Rei Jaume I will host a massive concentration that will end with the reading of a manifesto and a performance by the students of the IES Josep Iborra. The route of the demonstration will end at the Placeta de l'Església Vella.
