The coastal area of Benissa has as of today a new sweeping machine that will improve the cleaning of this area and that has been a great demand from the neighbors.
"The road has been long, the administrative times are slow and the hiring process cumbersome, but it has finally arrived in Benissa," they have highlighted from the consistory. It is a Dulevo 6000 that has a 22 m2 GORE filter that allows filtering the entire air flow that comes out of the machine, retaining the sucked dust and thus preventing its emission to the outside. It has a high capacity for filtering nano-particles pM1, pM 2.5 and pM10, thus preventing contamination of the environment and improving the quality of life of people with respiratory diseases such as asthma, allergy, fibrosis, Epoc, etc. Likewise, the sweeping system of this Dulevo machine reduces water consumption by 50% compared to other sweeping systems and 20% noise emission.
According to the mayor, Arturo Poquet, "with this machine we are going to be able to reinforce cleaning in the coastal area, something that will ultimately allow us to continue keeping our municipality in perfect state of the art."
For his part, the Benissa Impuls councilor, Isidor Mollà, who has been one of the main promoters of this initiative, has reiterated the need to continue growing in the coastal area and to continue providing solutions to all the residents of Benissa, regardless of where they reside. For this reason, he continued his speech, highlighting that "the sweeper is an absolutely necessary investment".
