Aid to companies: open the term to request the new subsidies to promote indefinite hiring

Labora has recently published the call for two aid programs for indefinite contracts, these are ECOVUL and ECOGJU.

El ECOVUL program, consists of a subsidy to promote the initial full-time indefinite hiring of unemployed people belonging to one of the following vulnerable groups:

a) People in a situation or risk of social exclusion, accredited by the Social Services of any public administration.
b) Long-term unemployed people
c) People over 50 years old
d) People with functional diversity

El ECOGJU program, subsidizes the initial full-time indefinite hiring of young people over 16 years of age who, having a professional qualification recognized by the vocational training system for employment or the educational system, are registered as beneficiaries in the file of the National Guarantee System Juvenile, in the territorial scope of the Valencian Community.

Any employer entity of a private legal nature, including self-employed workers, with a work center in the Valencian Community, may be a beneficiary of this aid.

In no case may groups of individuals or legal entities, public or private, civil partnerships, community property or any other type of economic unit or separate assets that, even lacking legal personality, could carry out the eligible actions be beneficiaries.

Hiring must be carried out after the publication of this call and must represent a net increase in the workforce compared to the average workforce of registered workers in the thirty calendar days prior to the conclusion of the contract.

The amount of the subsidy amounts to 25.200 euros, and can reach up to 28.000 euros depending on the profile of the person hired. The deadline for submitting applications will end on May 31, 2022. Applications must be submitted within two months of contracting the grant.
