Each year, the Marina Alta Students' Collective organizes a bus service aimed at young people in the region who need public transport to get to their educational centers. One of the main offers of the regional student organization is the bus to IES La Mar de Xàbia. During these last few days, registrations have been opened to use the service in the next academic year 2023-2024.
Departures and destination of the bus
The only final destination of this bus is the IES La Mar de Xàbia. To get to it, the transport goes through some localities in the region with demand for the service, since, due to proximity or other reasons, the number of students going to the institute is notable. The municipalities through which the bus can pass are the following:

- Gata de Gorgos
- Dénia
- Benissa
- Xaló
- Alcalali
- Xàbia
Schedules and price
The service is organized to meet the needs of the students of the afternoon schedule from IES La Mar. Therefore, both the outward and return times are from noon. The service for the 2023/24 academic year is priced at 6 euros per class day in which transportation is used.

This bus service seems very good to me; Anything that facilitates communication between different towns in the region is positive.
But (there is always a but, what a shame), is the Jávea urban bus going to continue with the current schedule, which is totally absurd and leaves hundreds of residents incommunicado on holidays and Sundays, in addition to running only every hour? It seems that this is a minor problem and it is not. It is exasperating not being able to go, for example, from the Arenal to the town to see the Corpus Christi dances (on Sunday), which are beautiful, or to see the Fogueres, because it is also a holiday and there is no way to go or return, except take a taxi or a private car - the one that has one, of course. Are they going to fix it? NO.
Good time for the newly elected to show that the requests (and more when they are simple) comply with them. Not to mention the programs.
