Thanks to a grant from the Diputación de Alicante, the Calp City Council will be able to open a line of aid aimed at the economic sectors of the population that, until now, had been left out of the calls that sought to alleviate the economic losses caused by the pandemic due to COVID-19. The grant will amount to 126.914 euros and each applicant could receive up to 4.000 euros.
What businesses are the aid directed to?
The aid will be aimed at different retail businesses and the fishing sector. For example:
- Butchers
- Fishmongers
- egg stores
- Casquerias
- bakeries
- patisseries
- snack products
- Candies
- Ice Cream Parlors
- Vehicle accessories and spare parts stores
- Libraries
- Kiosks
- Repair of household appliances
- Sanitary technical assistants
- Physiotherapists
- Companies offering legal or financial services
- accountants
- Fishing sector
Beneficiary requirements
They must have a fiscal domicile in the municipality of Calp and that the average monthly billing of the months for which the aid is to be requested (which must be between July 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022), has been equal to or less than the monthly average invoiced in the same months of 2019.
What expenses can businesses cover?
The new grants will be compatible with others with the same purpose. On the other hand, those eligible aspects will be the following, in the absence of specifying the aid in its official publication:
- Freelance quota
- Monthly rental of the premises where the business is located
- Consulting and advisory expenses
- Expenses for electricity, water, telephone, internet or security
