Starting today, the period opens to request aid for the payment of the Real Estate Tax (IBI) in Calp. These aids are aimed at retired people, pensioners under 65 years of age and long-term unemployed, with the aim of subsidizing the IBI of the habitual residence of the year prior to the call to improve the living conditions of those who are going through unfavorable economic situations.

The bonus can reach up to 400 euros and cover up to 85% of the IBI amount. This amount can increase by 10% for people with disabilities or members of families with disabilities with a degree equal to or greater than 33%, victims of gender violence, or members of single-parent or large families.

The requirements include having paid the IBI of the habitual residence in Calp, being over 65 years of age in 2023, being a Social Security pensioner during that year or being long-term unemployed and being registered as a job seeker in the centers. Labora (former Servef).

It is essential to be registered in the home subject to payment of the IBI, to be the owner of a single home in Calp and for this to be the habitual residence, not to have bonuses for large families and to be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.

The deadline to request this aid is extended until June 28 and can be done in person at the Citizen Service Office or through the city council's electronic headquarters.

Baby Bonus: Aid for children's products in Calp

In addition, from today until September 27, the deadline to request the Baby Bonus 2024 is open, an aid program of up to 500 euros aimed at the acquisition of basic children's products in Calp.

This program is aimed at families with children from 0 to 3 years old whose parent has been registered in Calp in the last 5 years and are in a situation of ERTE, unemployment or whose family income is below 4 times the Iprem.

The amount budgeted for this program is 100.000 euros and eligible expenses include hygiene products, pharmacy, clothing and others related to the upbringing of the minor.

The aid is linked to the promotion of local commerce, since it can only be used in businesses with an opening license in Calp. Applicants must present invoices for products purchased from the date of birth or adoption of the minor until the submission of the application.

Applications for the Baby Bonus can be made both in person at the Citizen Services Office and through the city council's electronic headquarters.
