The La Marina cycling Volta returns next January 14 in its XXXVIII edition. The historic competition began in 1985 and since 1988 it has continued to be held uninterruptedly until 2024.

Below you have an index with all the points that we are going to deal with in this article.

Stage 1: Dénia

In stage 1, the test will begin and end in Dénia on January 14, both moments at the Poliesportiu Municipal. Departing at 10:00 a.m., 75 km will be traveled.

From the capital of the Marina Alta, the volta will continue towards Pedreguer, Benidoleig, Beniarbeig, Benimeli, Ràfol d'Almúnia, Alt de Sorells, Pego, Alt de Sagra, Sagra, Tormos, Orba, again Benidoleig, Pedreguer and Dénia. More information about the first stage.

Stage 2: Bolulla

La Volta will arrive in Bolulla in the second stage next January 28. The test will have a total distance of 55 km and an ascent to Coll de Rates and Bixauca.

In this stage, the Volta will head towards Tárbena, Parcent, Benigembla and Castell de Castells until returning to Bolulla. More information about the second stage.

Stage 3: Hit

Pego will have the 4 February in the third stage with a distance of 65 km. From Plaça del Mercat, cyclists will travel through the municipality along the CV-715, CV-728 and return via the CV-678, completing seven laps. Finally they will go to l'Alt del Miserat. Stage 4: Benissa

The fourth stage will leave Benissa on 11 February. The distance to be covered will be 68 km through the municipal area, first with three laps around the town. Afterwards, two larger loops will begin towards the Alto de la Fustera pass. More information about the fourth stage.

Stage 5: Barxeta

El 25 February The fifth stage of the Volta a la Marina will take place, starting in Barxeta and with a total distance of 82 km. The route will first have two steps per finish line and then will go to Pla de Corrals and Simat de la Valldigna, to finally return to Barxeta. More information about the fifth stage.

Stage 6: Pedreguer

The sixth stage will be held on Winners will be announced in March in the town of Pedreguer. The route will make three turns before heading to l'Alt de la Llosa, Alt de Laguar and Alt Portet d'Orba to return to the plaça dels Porxens de Pedreguer. More information about the sixth stage.

Ondara Women's Trophy

This will be the fourth year to celebrate the Trofeu Fémines Ajuntament d'Ondara in the town that will take place on Winners will be announced in March. More information about the competition.

Stage 7: Parcent

Parcent will be the last stage of the La Marina Cycling Volta 2024. It will correspond to the seventh stage of the competition that will take place on Winners will be announced in March.
