The La Marina cycling Volta returns next January 12th in its XXXIX edition. The historic competition began in 1985 and since 1988 it has continued to be held uninterruptedly until 2025.
Stage 1: Bolulla
The Volta will start in Bolulla next January 12The race will have a total distance of 66,40 km and will include an ascent to Coll de Rates (km 18,5) and Bixauca (km 53,5). The competition will start at 10:00 in the morning, while the finish is estimated at 11:39.
The route will depart from Bolulla and will go to Tárbena, Coll de Rates, Parcent, Benigembla, Castell de Castells, Bixauca and return to Tàrbena and Bolulla. Find out more about the first stage.
Stage 2: Xàbia
In stage 2, the test will start and finish in Xàbia on January 19. From the town we will set off towards Jesús Pobre and Alt de Colomer to return again towards Jesús Pobre and Xàbia, with two sprints with a sprint finish. The distance to be covered will be 67 km. More information about stage 2.
Stage 3: Parcent
Parcent will be the third stage of the Volta ciclismo La Marina 2025. It will take place on February 2. With a length of 72,4 km, the race will have two sprints. More information about the third stage.
Stage 4: Barxeta
El February 23 The fourth stage of the Volta a la Marina will take place, starting in Barxeta and covering a total distance of 82 km. The route will have two mountain prizes in Alt de Corrals and Alt Simat. More information about stage 4.
Stage 5: August
In stage 5, the test will focus on Agost el 1 MarchThe route will start towards Pozo Blanco, Novelda, Aspe, Alto Hondón, La Romana, Alto Manya, Monóvar, and will return towards Novelda, Pozo Blanco and Agost. It will have a distance of 76,6 km, with two sprints and two mountain prizes. Learn more.
Women's Trophy
The Trofeu Fémines is usually held in Ondara, however, the organization has not yet revealed the location. On the other hand, it is planned that the Trofeu Fémines will be held in Ondara. 9 March. More information about the competition phase.
Stage 6: Gata de Gorgos
The sixth stage will be held on 16 March in the town of Gata de Gorgos. The route will go to Llíber, Xaló, Alcalalí, Parcent, Orba, Sagra, Beniarbeig, Pedreguer, and will return to l'Alt Llosa de Camatxo, Alcalalí, Xaló, Llíber and back to Gata. It will have a distance of 67,7 km, with two sprints and a mountain prize. More information about the sixth stage.
Stage 7: Dénia
The seventh and final stage will begin and end in Dénia el 23 MarchThe route will be 75,8 km long and will start from the capital of Marina Alta, taking in La Xara, Pedreguer, Beniarbeig, Ràfol d'Almúnia, Alt de Sorells, Pego, Alt Sagra, Orba, Alt Portet d'Orba, Parcent, Alcalalí, Orba, Benidoleig and again La Xara and Dénia.
