The Corremundos Athletics Club is the organizer of the XX Cursa Popular Teulada and has the collaboration of the Teulada City Council, as well as the Teulada Moraira Local Police, Civil Protection and a large number of volunteers who will ensure that the test runs perfectly.
Moha Rida (CA Llebeig Xàbia) 33:30 in men and María Isabel Ferrer (CE Llebeig Xàbia), in women with a time of 38:00, were the absolute winners in the XIX Cursa Popular Teulada.
This year, the adult race has new features, on the one hand, a change in schedule. The queen test will now take place on Sunday (March 17) in the morning, instead of Saturday afternoon as in previous editions. The Volta will begin at 10:00 in the morning, while the children's races will start at 12:00 noon, instead of being in the afternoon.
In addition, the queen event will have a new route, 9,8 kilometers with slight changes compared to the last edition, with departure and arrival in the Plaza de La Constitución. The runners will complete the circuit finding the maximum difficulty between kilometers 5 and 6. The route runs through the streets Benissa, Avenida del Mediterráneo, Camí Calvari, José Pitarch, Alicante, Maestro Mulet, Canónigo Vallés, Plaza de la Cruz, Valencia, San Bonaventura, Hermanas Oliver, Avenida Las Palmas, Tàrbena, Camí Font de l'Horta, Boticari, Poet del Moro, Diego Caldo, Sant Miquel, José Pitarch, Calvari, Avenida Mediterráneo, Benissa, to look for the Goal again on Avenida Santa Caterina , thus completing the 9.800 meters. There will be no shortage of live music provided by the Colla el Falçó de Teulada distributed at different points, as well as speakers in strategic places along the route that will make the race more enjoyable and bearable for the participants.
The Corremundos Athletics Club has provided a cloakroom service, located in the finish area, toilets in the Plaça Jasmiler Parking 150 meters from the finish line and shower service just 350 meters from the finish line, in the Ciutat Esportiva Ricardo Benavent, in the Estadi Bernardo Font Vallés soccer team.
