The president of the Valencian Pilota Federation, Vicent Molines, and the mayor of Pedreguer, Sergi Ferrús, signed a collaboration agreement that marks a milestone in the promotion and promotion of Valencian pilota as a native sport. The fundamental objective of this agreement is to promote the practice of Valencian pilota, supporting its operation, promoting the different traditional modalities and contributing to the organization of sports competitions and exhibitions. As part of the commitment, the City Council will actively participate in professional and elite activity during the year 2024, organized by the FPV. The municipal trinquet will host exciting games of the Lliga Pro 1 d'Escala i Corda, as well as the Cup, enriching the local sports offer.
Furthermore, as a sign of its continued support, the City Council will assume the sponsorship of a team in the Lliga Pro 1 d'Escala i Corda and another in the Lliga Pro 1 Femení de Raspall, betting on the development and consolidation of the Valencian pilot in all its categories.
