Pedreguer athletes take 14 medals from the Marina Alta Olympic Minijocs

The Pedreguer school sports community is in luck. Its young athletes and their coaches have won 14 medals in the fourteenth edition of the Marina Alta Olympic MiniJocs. An extraordinary list of winners, the fourth municipality in number of medals, made up of two golds, three silvers and nine bronzes.

This edition has been held in Pego and has brought together 106 athletes from the municipality who have demonstrated the good health of the base sport in Pedreguer. In addition to the podiums in two team disciplines, silver in women's basketball and bronze in soccer, Pedreguer's children's sport has excelled in karate, swimming and athletics.

On behalf of the Pedreguer City Council, the Mayor Sergi Ferrús Peris and the Councilor for Sports Pepe Cabrera Puigcerver presented the medals.
