The Save the Vall Platform calls for a demonstration in Llíber on February 18 at 11:00 a.m., with a meeting point at the Párquing del Pla. The citizen association, created with the purpose of defending the Muntanya Llarga where the PAI Medina Llíber intends to build 488 homes, wants to express its rejection of the project because it considers that "it does not comply with the current Environmental Impact Declaration regulations, due to the lack of environmental responsibility, express concern about water collapse in the Valley of Pop and the intention to stop linguistic and cultural substitution.
After the demonstration, various activities will be carried out at the Rastro de Xaló, including the sale of cokes with prior reservation, a drinks bar and a storyteller titled cavallers by Terato-Teatre. In addition, a free concert will be offered with the participation of artists such as Pau Alabajos, Blai Blaiova, Tres fan ball, Jean Jass and Kinperkal. The funds raised will be used for legal action against the urban macroproject.
