The general director of Educational Innovation and Planning, Reyes Gallego, has visited the CEE Gargasindi of Calp-Benissa and the IES Sorts de la Mar to learn about the educational innovation programs promoted by these two centers with the support of the Department of Education.
The CEE Gargasindi and the IES Sorts de la Mar are two of the 49 centers in the Marina Alta where the department of the minister Vicent Marzà invests this course a total of 113.000 euros to develop 27 educational innovation projects related to sustainability and environmental awareness , educational inclusion and the transformation of courtyards into coeducational spaces.
'Friendly environments ", project of the CEE Gargasindi
The general director has shared with the CEE Gargasindi teaching team the progress in the cognitive accessibility project that this school specializes in serving students with functional diversity and that with the title 'Friendly Environments' has the support of the Department , which invests 2.900 euros in the project.
Universal accessibility is the quality of the environments so that anyone can participate and enjoy them regardless of their abilities or needs. Cognitive accessibility is a part and encompasses all those actions that improve the understanding and use of environments, services and products.
In this way, the project 'Friendly Environments' deepens easy reading as a resource to improve access and understanding of texts and documents, both in the educational field and in the community environment.
Easy reading is a method to make texts more understandable for all people, eliminating barriers to understanding, learning and participation, and not only reaches the text, but also refers to the illustrations and layout of all kinds of texts, written messages and posters.
A cultural garden at the IES Sort de la Mar
On the other hand, the IES Sorts de la Mar is carrying out a global educational innovation center project this year that attracts more than 9.800 euros of investment from the Ministry with the aim of creating a cultural and sustainable garden in this institute of Dénia.
This project, entitled 'Cultural and Sustainable Garden', consists of planting plants and sowing in a space of about 2.000 m² in order to achieve a cultural, sustainable, inclusive, innovative, three-dimensional, historical, theatrical, poetic garden. musical, touristy, attractive and ambitious.
Global innovation projects involve at least 70% of the teaching staff of each educational center and this course opens in 62 centers, one of them the IES Sorts de la Mar de Dénia, which will have more than half a million euros to transform their educational model.
