The coronavirus situation in the Marina Alta continues to improve. This is confirmed by the latest data provided by the Ministry of Health. Since last Friday, the region has registered a decrease in infections, adding only 11 new cases.
The other good news is that the total number of active cases has also decreased in the last 4 days, going from 45 to 38 cases today, so the cumulative incidence stands at 22,27 infections per 100.000 inhabitants. At the moment, only four towns in the region are outside the new normal.
The 11 registered cases have been recorded in the towns of Calp, with almost half, five cases. Xàbia and Benissa add two new positives and Pedreguer and Teulada have registered one case each.
