Located in the highest area of a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean Sea stands this project carried out by the architecture studio QB architects for the promoter Euroholding: House on the Hill.
House in the Lloma looking for a clean and calm look, as well as wrapping its inhabitants in a peaceful atmosphere through its sinuous and smooth skin, like a silk that protects you from the sea breeze that can be seen from its location.
This work of QB architects is very peculiar, with a absolutely exceptional situation.
The approach given to the house was conditioned by the presence of the sea and its unique situation on top of a mountain.
housing landscape
QB architects he created a piece with a sculptural, sinuous character, looking for a contrast with the sea with its white planes.
As a result, you get a piece that enhances the spectacular existing landscape.
housing object
The housing space is clean and simple, it is an L-shaped room around the pool looking outwards.
Its geometry ensures that its areas are completely differentiated: the daytime, more public and relational, and the night, more intimate and closed.
housing skin
For this house, a skin of white concrete is used, seeking a simile with the Mediterranean Sea; a clean and serpentine skin that achieves a certain sculptural character. Its white color and the materials used evoke the classic Mediterranean facades.
Beatriz Garcia Morales and Enrique Chapa make up the architecture studio QB architects, founded in 2005. Since then they have already carried out more than fifty homes special and unique for each client, in cities like Valencia, Dénia, Jávea, Moraira and Madrid.
This architecture studio accompanies the client in all the processes involved in the creation of a home, from the search for the plot to the choice of the builder and, especially, in its design and construction.
