A concrete mixer truck overturns in the middle of the Gata de Gorgos bridge

At about 14:30 p.m. on Friday, a concrete mixer truck overturned while crossing the Gata de Gorgos bridge, on the N-332 as it passed through the town. According to information from the Fire Department, the driver has been trapped in the accident, although conscious, so they have had to release him.

The driver, a 50-year-old man, has been transferred to Dénia Hospital with polytrauma. At the moment he has not transcended the seriousness of the injuries. Four fire crews have come to the scene to be able to get the driver out as soon as possible, being assisted by a SAMU team and transferred in an SVB.
