Program of the July Festivities of Pedreguer – Sant Bonaventura 2023

The Pedreguer July festivities return with force this 2023 with an extensive program of events. These are the patron saint festivities in honor of Sant Bonaventura, which are held del 7 al 16 de julio. They are one of the best-known festivities in the region for its extensive bullfighting program.

Friday July 7

• 13: 00 hours: Announcement of the start of the festivities in honor of Sant Bonaventura with general ringing of bells and parade with dolçaina and tabaleta by the Colla l'Ocaive.
• 23: 30 hours: The Comissió de festes and Quinta 2023 l'Embolicà, with the Batuca Katuba, will go to the Town Hall where, from the balcony, the proclamation will take place by the stone artists Marina Mulet and Jaime Monfort. Next, lighting of the casing for the start of the Pedreguer Fiestas. Next, I Entry of bulls by the La Paloma ranch, and release of cows from the Benavent ranch.

• 19: 00 hours: IV Entry of bulls from the David Alfaro ranch, sponsored and organized by the El Canyís association and release of cows from the El Salero ranch.
• 19: 30 hours: Parade of the Band of the Musical Artistic Center of Pedreguer through the streets of the town.
• 23: 30 hours: Presentation of festeros for adults and children and the 2023 Commission. At the end of the performance of the musical Operación Homenaje. Later, macrodiscomobile.

Sunday July 9

• 08: 00 hours: General bell ringing.
• 10: 00 hours: XVIII Valencian pilota game for men and women in the trinquet, organized by the PILOT CLUB of Pedreguer.
• 10: 00 hours: Parade of the Pedreguer Music Band.
• 10: 00 hours: Tournament trick in the Pòrxens, by A. Amigos del Truc.
• 12: 00 hours: Solemn mass in honor of Sant Roc, accompanied by jazz music by Atelier Vocal (women's section of the Cor de la Rectoria), together with Eva Olivencia and accompanied by piano, double bass and drums. At the end, delivery of the Valencian pilota trophies. Beer tasting by Disbode Torres, wine by Finca Mont Roig and nuts by Almendras Artigues, in the Pòrxens.
• 19: 00 hours: Entrance of the Murta with the Band of the Musical Art Center of Pedreguer and the Colla l'Ocaive. Next, V Entry of Bulls from the F. Machancoses ranch and the 1st afternoon of the contest by the Benavent ranch.
• 19: 45 hours: Inauguration of the Exhibition on Music and Shows in Pedreguer by the Els Pòrxens Association at C/ Mestre Serrano, 30. It can be visited from 20:00 p.m. to 22:00 p.m. every holiday.
• 20: 00 hours: Performance by Las Enfants Sérieux (Jaime Monfort) with the show Happy Apocalypse To You. There will be ice creams sponsored by Palacio Helados Artesanos.

Monday July 10

• 19: 00 hours: VIII Entry of bulls and tame from the La Paloma cattle ranch, sponsored by Pedro Cantó, SL Gathering in the dje corral on Alicante Avenue of AC Passion for Bulls and fans to the Plaza Mayor. Tuesday July 11

• 10: 00 hours: Children's awakening by the festerets and festeretes.
• 11: 00 hours: Children's parade for children with the festeros, accompanied by the Batuca Katuba, from the Plaza Mayor to the Patronat park, where there will be children's and water games, soft drinks and water for children, sponsored by the Quinta 2003 the Abatoll.

Wednesday 12 of July

• 10: 30 hours: Concentration in the Social Center of all the older people of the town and parade to the Plaza de la Amistat where breakfast will be offered to the participants. Next, a performance by Maria Jesus and her accordion presenting the Las Canciones de nuestra vida tour. Distribution to the residents of the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Residence of horchata and fartones.
• 12: 00 hours: XII Entrance of bulls from Ganadería Les Coves and release of cows from Ganadería la Paloma.
• 19: 00 hours: Floats and groups on foot along the usual itinerary with Els Traginers, Batuca Katuba and the Band of the Pedreguer Artistic Musical Center.

Jueves 13 July

• 09: 00 hours: Registration at the Glorieta to participate in the Humorous Rally.
• 09: 30 hours: Departure of the Humorous Rally from the Glorieta, organized by the Pedreguer Excursionist Center. At the end, the awards ceremony will take place in the Plaza de la Amistat.
• 12: 00 hours: XIV Entry of bulls from the Les Coves Ganadería and release of cows from the La Hermandad ranch.
• 18: 00 hours: Popular snack for children in the Plaza de la Amistad. Then, children's theater performance by the Estranya Companya, with the play Bandarra.
• 19: 00 hours: Carretons for all the children of the town, in Plaza Mayor.
• 19: 30 hours: XV Entry of bulls from the La Paloma ranch and 3rd afternoon of the contest by the F. Machancoses ranch.
• 22: 00 hours: Popular dinner in the courtyard of Colegio l'Alfàs, enlivened by the Mama't y Calla brass band. Before the orchestra starts, there will be a pyromusical show by Hermanos Caballer followed by a performance by the Tokyo orchestra.

Friday July 14

• 08: 15 hours: XVI Entry of bulls and release of cows from the Els Coves Livestock.
• 10:00 a.m.; Popular breakfast of coques in the Plaza de la Amistad.
• 12: 00 hours: XVII Entry of bulls from the Benavent Ganadería and release of "heifers" from the Els Coves Ganadería.
• 13: 00 hours: Beer and cazalla a gogó, in the Plaza de la Amistad, by the Quintà 2013 l'Esclatà, which awaits you with many surprises.

• 18: 00 hours: Concentration of quintadas in the bullring on Av. de Alicante and VIII Entrada de Quintadas, with the Charanga Garantcha. Afterwards, an afternoon of dancing with the People Band orchestra, in the Plaza Mayor.

• 23: 00 hours: Rock Night in the courtyard of Colegio l'Alfàs, with Metal and Sound, Hamlet and Soziedad Alkoholika.
• 00: 30 hours: XVIII Entry of bulls from the Les Cuevas Ganadería and release of cows from the La Paloma Ganadería.
• 00: 45 hours: Performance in the Plaza de la Amistad by the group Albaladre.

Saturday 15 July

• 08: 00 hours: Ringing of bells and awakening of rockets by Hermanos Caballer. Then, departure from the Plaza Mayor for an albaes recital through the streets of the town, given by Josep Aparicio APA and Trini Carballo (cantaores), Josemi (versator), Juan Ramón de Torrent (dolçaina) and Ampi Millán (tabal). .
• 10: 00 hours: Parade of the Band of the Musical Artistic Center of Pedreguer.
• 12: 00 hours: Solemn Mass in honor of San Bonaventura, accompanied by the organ with Josep Vicent Giner and sung by the San Bonaventura Choir. Next, the traditional Gall Races will take place. At the end, a firecracker will be fired by Hermanos Caballer.
• 20: 00 hours: The commission, with the older and children's festeros, will visit the anti-cancer application tables. Next, the Offering to Sant Bonaventura will be made, to which the entire town is invited to participate. At the end, XXI Salves will be fired and the procession will begin. Tour: pl. Major, City Hall, Ample, S. Juan, Clavell, S. Antonio, Angel, Devots, av. from Alicante, Sol, pl. Sta. Marta, Literato Azorín, Town Hall and Plaza Mayor. The commission invites the entire neighborhood to decorate the streets through which the procession passes. • 11: 30 hours: Solemn Mass at the Nuestra Señora del Carmen Residence, sung by the San Buenaventura Choir.
• 12: 00 hours: XIX Entry of bulls from the La Paloma Ganadería and release of cows from the Benavent Ganadería.
• 13: 00 hours: Concert in the Plaza de la Amistad by the group LA ROXX.
• 18: 30 hours: Exhibition of simultaneous games of chess in the roundabout of the Creu, with the teacher Luis M., by the Municipal School of Chess of Pedreguer.
• 19: 30 hours: XX Entry of bulls from the F. Machancoses Livestock. Next, 4th afternoon of the La Paloma Livestock contest. At the end, the prizes of the bullfighting contest will be delivered.
• 20: 00 hours: Performance in the Plaza de la Amistad, by the Pedreguer Dance group, and distribution of lemon granita.
