The AEMET activates the yellow alert in the Marina Alta due to abundant rainfall
The State Meteorological Agency has activated the yellow alert in the Marina Alta and the entire north coast of the province of Alicante due to heavy rainfall that will accompany us for the rest of the week.
As we reported a few days ago, the weather forecasts for the beginning of December have little to do with what has been experienced so far. The temperatures drop even more, with highs at 15 and lows below 10º for several days.
However, the yellow alert that AEMET has activated is due to the fact that from today until, for now, Sunday there will be continuous and abundant rainfall in the area. This episode is expected to start before noon on Thursday, and there will be little respite from then on. In fact, the afternoon and evening of Friday the water will be accompanied by a strong electrical storm.
For now it is unknown how long the rains will last. Everything points to the fact that next week it will also start under water. Of course, the maximum temperatures will rise a few degrees on the bridge.
