El Verger will rehabilitate a path highly traveled by athletes and walkers
The Camino Cremadella, next to the N-332 and the AP-7, which connects with Portelles and the access road to Parc de l'Ombria de Segària in Penya Roja, will soon be repaired thanks to a grant from the Diputación de Alicante.
The aid comes from the resolution of the call for "subsidies for the acquisition of lighting and elements for the improvement of road safety, on roads and rural roads". This subsidy is granted to municipalities in the province with a population of less than 5.000 inhabitants. The total of the concession amounts to 35.997,21 euros.
It is a fairly busy road, both by residents who access their land through it and by those who go jogging or strolling in the surroundings of the Serra de Segària. As reported by the media Alicante Plaza, the repair of the road also considers the asphalt and could start in a month.
