Benitatxell installs traffic cameras as a support measure for the Local Police
The Town Hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has recently installed a system of traffic and road safety cameras. At the moment, the assembly of three cameras at the north and south accesses of Cumbre del Sol has begun, but the necessary infrastructure and systems have been conditioned to expand the technology park next year.
This measure responds to various demands from neighbors and local associations. The intention is to have all the accesses and exits of the municipality covered, both from Xàbia and from Teulada and Moraira, and cover vital points to provide support to the Local Police in their traffic regulation and road safety tasks.
In addition, the local body has renewed the agreement with the Provincial Council for the use of the police management program and various training sessions have been scheduled for the proper use of this tool by the agents. Also in this area, security and surveillance cameras have been installed inside all municipal offices, with the very aim of facilitating police tasks if necessary.
