Benissa will save 1.400 euros a year with the new LED lights of the sports pavilion
This week, the Palau Sant Pere Municipal Sports Center will be modernized with the installation of different LED lighting equipment. These improvements are part of an energy efficiency program of the Diputación de Alicante.
The investment has been 8.400 euros from direct aid from the Provincial Council, whose investment forecasts reach 1,6 million euros in projects of these characteristics throughout the province. As stated by the technical department, the expected return on investment period is 6 years.
The initiative will mean annual energy savings of 11.700 kWh and 1.400 euros for Benissa, in addition to the environmental implications of using the new LED technology. These are a longer useful life, less maintenance, high energy efficiency or low ecological impact.
