In 2024, the Ugly Day charity festival, organised by the UGLY MC Club in Teulada Moraira, will be back on 16 and 17 November. This is the fourth edition of the charity event, which this year will donate all the money raised to those affected by the DANA in Valencia.
The event has the support and collaboration of Municipality of Teulada Moraira and is characterised by fundraising for various charitable causes. Ugly MC member Ugly Harry explained that his plans have changed completely with this year's event. "We have friends, family and many of us are from there. Therefore, what has happened in Valencia with the DANA is going to be our objective in the coming months to be able to help with what we raise on Ugly Day in Moraira."
Over the weekend, on Saturday from 11:00 to 02:00 and on Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00, visitors will be able to enjoy a fun-filled programme for all ages on the Senillar promenade in Moraira. From a motorbike exhibition to a stunt pilot show, as well as many ugly challenges.
The charity festival will also host bands such as Jimmy Cornett and the Deadmen, Tuny and the Rockheavillies, Blackats, Motorcity and Blackjack. Guests will also enjoy Rockin' Six, Splinter and Jam Session with Jai Larkan, and the various food and drink stands set up in collaboration with the Teulada Moraira Hospitality Association.
The mayor of Teulada Moraira, Raul Llobell, has assured that "this year this festival, which was born in a solidarity-based manner, makes even more sense and will allocate its profits in 2024 to those affected by the catastrophe that occurred in Valencia." In addition, he thanked the Ugly MC association for its solidarity and invited them to come and participate and collaborate so that as much as possible can be raised for the areas affected by the DANA.
